Saturday: 9am – 4pm and 6pm – 9pm

Important: Please note that the last entrance into the exhibit is 1 hour prior to closing.
When will the exhibit be here?
The exhibit will open to the public on April 8th, 2010 and close May 15th, 2010.

Tickets for From The Dead Sea Scrolls to the Bible in America are offered in 15-minute increments. These are timed-entry tickets and guests must be at the exhibition entrance at the time noted on their ticket. Last entry is 1 hour prior to the exhibit’s closing.
Are group discounts and tickets available?
Yes. Discounted tickets are available for groups of 15 people or more. All group tickets, including schools, must be purchased in advance at here. All tickets are non-refundable and non-exchangeable. Group rates and packages are subject to change.
One bonus ticket is provided for the leader of each group of 15 or more. Please use the Group +15 ticket type on the ticket registration page. Do not include the leader in the quantity of tickets you are buying.
How do we purchase tickets?
Click here to be directed to online ticketing. Print your ticket and bring it with you on the day and time printed on your ticket. These are timed-entry tickets, so purchasing ahead of time is highly recommended. Last entry is 1 hour prior to the exhibit’s closing.
Do I need a reservation?
Reservations are highly recommended. If you do not purchase tickets in advance, there is no guarantee for entry into From the Dead Sea Scrolls to the Bible in America on the desired date and time. A minimum number of tickets will be sold at the door each day.
How do timed-entry tickets work?
Tickets for From The Dead Sea Scrolls to the Bible in America are offered in 15-minute increments. These are timed-entry tickets and guests should arrive at the exhibition entrance at the time listed on their ticket. Actual entry into the exhibit will occur within minutes of the listed time on your tickets. For example, if someone has an 11:00 am ticket, they will enter into the exhibit between 11:00 am and 11:15 am.
How many people can go through the exhibit at a time?
Groups containing no more than 30 people will enter the exhibit in 15-minute increments. This will allow for a maximum of 120 people in the viewing area at a time.
When is the best time to visit?
Purchasing your tickets online guarantees entrance into the exhibit on the date and time chosen. We anticipate large crowds on the weekends and expect these tickets will go quickly. The exhibit is open for longer hours Monday-Friday, and therefore we expect it to have the most availability.
How long will it take to view the exhibition?
This is an in-depth museum style exhibit with authentic artifacts and fragments from the Dead Sea Scrolls to the Bible in America. Your involvement in the exhibit will determine the length of time that you spend experiencing these pieces of history. Most guests will spend an average of approximately one hour in the exhibit.
How long can I stay in the exhibition?
You may take as long as you like to go through the exhibit, but you must exit by closing. This is a one-time entry exhibition. Re-entry is not permitted. Please use the restroom prior to viewing the exhibition, as restrooms are not available inside the gallery.
Is there an audio/video tour?
Yes. Enhance your experience and bring the past to the present through a multimedia tour. This multimedia tour focuses on the remarkable storyline of the lives and artifacts found within our exhibit. You’ll also gain an in-depth look into the Dead Sea Scrolls, the Gutenberg, and the early printed versions of the Bible. It also provides additional information to visitors that otherwise isn’t attainable from reading exhibit panels alone. There are two options available to you. See below.
For individuals with iPhone, iPod touch & iPad:

For individuals without an iPhone, iPod touch or iPad:
An audio/video tour is available for only $5 to compliment the exhibition. It will be approximately 30-40 minutes in length.
Will guided tours be available?
No, all visits are self-guided. Visitors who wish to learn additional information about the exhibit are encouraged to download the Dead Sea Scrolls mobile app or purchase an audio/video tour.
Are children allowed in the exhibition?
To ensure an enjoyable experience for all, we ask that a responsible adult accompany all children under the age of 16.
Is the exhibit wheelchair accessible?
Yes.
Are strollers permitted in the exhibition?
Strollers are not permitted in the exhibition. Young children should be carried in a front-facing carrier. Large backpacks are not permitted either.
Is there a place to rest in the exhibition?
Yes. Benches will be placed throughout the exhibit in order to provide places for visitors to rest as needed.
Are food and beverages permitted inside the exhibit?
No. In order to protect the artifacts from potential damage, food and beverages are not permitted inside the exhibition area.
Are photography and video permitted within the exhibit?
Photography and video, including pictures taken with cell phones, are not permitted. The onsite bookstore will provide museum quality books for purchase. Several of these items capture the items on exhibit, as well as other interesting artifacts from the same time periods.
